On food:

“Stockholm rivals any capital city when it comes to great food – and I’m not just talking meatballs or cured herring. From sushi to somtum, tapas to taramasalata, Stockholm has it all. I’m a big fan of Riche, somewhat of a Stockholm institution. It’s quite hard to get a table, especially at weekends, but you can see why. It’s really food French inspired food, with a Swedish influence – not just in ingredients, but innovation, taste and presentation – set to an arty, cosmopolitan and buzzy atmosphere; and on top of it all some of the loveliest staff in the city.”

On design:
“Stockholm is the centre for Swedish design. Walk down fancy Strandvagen and you’ll happen upon the mother of all that defines Scandi-chic Svensk Tenn. I also love the Swedish approach to design in fashion. Stockholm isn’t lacking its world renowned labels, from ACNE Studios; to Tiger of Sweden. But I like the brand HOPE, who take gender-neutral clothing to a whole new level.”

On where to stay:

“Tough one. The city has some fabulous hotels to suit all budgets. One of my favourites will always be the Nobis. But I also love the historical Skeppsholmen, set on a beautiful small island in the middle of the city. For a taste of ABBA, check out Pop House. Back in the city, there’s a new crop of properties like HOBO and At Six that is the talk of the city. Wherever you decide to stay, you’re sure to receive excellent hospitality with touches of Swedish design.”
